Emotional Awareness Part 2

Part 2  of emotional awareness is fear.  Our fear is the most prevalent number one emotion that blocks us, creates imbalance and keeps us from living our dreams.  We miss opportunities, don't connect with others and inhibit our emotional growth. Fear is a multidimensional part of our human-ness and for many of us it is driving our 'bus'. The most debilitating fears are the ones out of our awareness - the unconscious fears.  I didn't recognize how they limited my joy, fulfillment and freedom. Through the lens of fear; we sometimes alter our behavior and become inauthentic which keeps us small and suppressed in an unnatural form of being,  a state of resistance. All in the name of an unwarranted fear that is playing in the back ground of my life, that I've become so accustomed to that it is unrecognizable to me. And yet in many cases I'd wonder why parts of my life weren't working or why I felt something was missing.  These were indications for me to take...

Emotional Awareness

Emotional Awareness is knowing what you are feeling and labeling it through descriptive words.  Sometimes we have a feeling and aren't actually aware of what we are feeling. I have experienced this with anger,  I have always had an underlining thread of anger I just hadn't recognized it as anger.  It was so much a part of how I was feeling and being I hadn't even noticed it. I'm not talking about the quick anger you feel with outbursts or conflicts,  this is a normal human reaction in certain situations. I'm talking about a slight feeling, touch of anger that underlines all parts of yourself. Who you show up as, how you view yourself and others, how you respond to your circumstances,  how you respond to your own thoughts, how your respond with others... it is in all aspects of your life. Through my journey of transcending... I became aware of this thread of anger,  and choose to respond and watch it instead of reacting to it. I took notice,  the fi...

The Value of Wellness Coaching

Article I wrote in August/ September 2016 in Bucks County Women's Journal The master key to wellness is by far achieved through coaching. Most individuals want to achieve life style and behavioral changes, but aren't aware of how valuable an investment in a coach can actually be for them. Coaching is really about creating lasting results, not a one-time breakthrough session. When a client has a breakthrough session which can occur in the first session, this becomes the foundation of real results in fostering life style and behavioral changes that they are really looking to obtain.   It’s building on this foundation, one step at a time and gaining momentum to successful results. In achieving small successes with each coaching session you can naturally help energize commitment and give confirmation to your efforts. I consistently move you forward to achieving the changes and goals you set for accomplishing with wellness coaching. Accountability and confidence in yourself d...

Creating Wellness Through Balance

I’ve been involved in Health and Wellness on some level all my adult life. I’ve experienced and researched many trends and fads throughout the years. What I found is that there are many different components to achieving health and wellness in your life.  One that stands out considerably is creating a balance of mind, body and spirit to the best of our ability. Creating balance empowers us with a stronger sense of Self helping us achieve an overall feeling of wellness. A major course of action toward wellness occurs when we begin to take 100% responsibility for our own feelings, thoughts and choices. We all have an inner GPS, an inner Knowing that indicates to us what we need to look at that might be creating our imbalance.  Imbalance can also occur through a transitional stage of career change, divorce, relocation/moving, loss of a loved one, health issues, marriage or becoming a new parent.   The top three essential building blocks for taking responsibility ...

Self Awareness

I’ve been a student of ACIM for approximately four years. ACIM is a psychological mind training undoing the mistaken ideas and limiting beliefs in our mind. Leading to truth, self awareness and right mindedness. A cornerstone in living a life of empowerment, joy and peace. During the course of the four years I have also incorporated other practices, which have all helped me in my path to self awareness. Most recently The Presence Process by Michael Brown, has truly cleared a way for me. Great insight, awareness and allowing my true state of Being to be in the present moment has been an asset in my growth.  Applying what I’ve learned to ‘my classroom’  in the role of every day life, has turned out to be the very best teacher. It’s not enough to gain knowledge about becoming aware it’s only through applying the knowledge that creates real change.  The true path to awareness, evolving, growing wisdom is an inside job. As you go inside, the more aware you become the more y...

Journaling of the Soul

Journaling of the Soul is a class I'm facilitating,  it's learning how to tap into your inner wisdom through writing. We all have the answers inside us, we don't always know how to access them.  Journaling of the Soul is a tool that helps access those answers. The Beginning

I wasn't sure where to begin.... so I'm just going to start.  There actually is no real beginning that I can or cannot remember.  I've always had an inner knowing that life has much more meaning than what is visibly in front of us.  And I was always in search of what it is that wasn't visible... even when I didn't realize I was searching for it. Journaling was a big part of my life growing up. I always kept a diary, recording my feelings, thoughts and life events that seemed worthy of an entry into my diary.  What I didn't realize is how instrumental writing was for me to put words to my feelings/ thoughts.. it kept me in touch with a part of me that shapes us into who we are and how we perceive the life we are living.  At times I would just write, not always understanding my writings at the time it was written. Then I'd go back and read it and somehow it would make sense at the present time it was being read.  This still happens today, and I've create...
